    About Jeffrey Klopper, MD

    Jeffrey Klopper, MD, our medical director, earned his medical degree at Brown University School of Medicine. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, serving as chief resident. Dr. Klopper completed his fellowship in neurology at Emory University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has 40 years of experience in psychiatry. Dr. Klopper has held numerous prestigious positions throughout his career. He has been a board member of the National Head Injury Foundation, Chief Psychiatrist at WellStar Hospital in Smyrna, Georgia, and medical officer in several hospitals around the Atlanta area. He has served as the Primary Psychiatrist and Neuropsychiatric Consultant for the Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury Programs at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.

    Additionally, he has acted as an expert witness in medical-legal cases, including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, and workers’ compensation cases. Dr. Klopper is also the Medical Director of Atlanta Behavioral Care in Vinings, Georgia. He enjoys reading, hiking, and rescuing animals in his free time, showcasing his deep commitment to his profession and personal interests.
